Building Material
Cement additive
PVA as a cement additive can effectively increase the adhesion and fluidity of cement, slow down the drying time of cement surface, increase construction adaptability, and prevent cracking of cement coating surface. Suitable for wall and ceiling decoration and tile bonding, with simple usage and good effect.
Forming board adhesive
Whether it is organic fibers (such as bagasse and sawdust) or inorganic materials, PVA's high efficiency adhesion and water resistance can be utilized to mix, compress, and bond them together to produce gypsum prefabricated boards, sound-absorbing boards, and other panels.
Coatings and building adhesives
PVA causes the solution to condense with formaldehyde under the catalysis of hydrochloric acid, resulting in the formation of water-resistant PVA formaldehyde polymer compounds, which are widely used as interior and exterior wall coatings, decorative processing, and joint filling in buildings. PVA coating has the advantages of good weather resistance, waterproofing, non swelling and non brittleness when in contact with water, and low cost.
PVA formaldehyde polymer solution can also be used alone in concrete reinforcement, wall putty adhesive and other applications, and has been widely used in buildings and decoration. When used in conjunction with polyacrylamide, it can meet the needs of different occasions.
