Paper Industry
The production of hydrophilic fibers such as pulp or synthetic silk can be used to add micro powder PVA 17-99 micro powder to the pulping machine. At room temperature, PVA 17-99 micro powder absorbs water and swells, but does not dissolve. Due to its strong affinity for hydrophilic fibers, PVA 17-99 micro powder can be completely adsorbed onto the fibers and can maintain a high retention rate during operation.
However, when drying, attention should be paid to the drying cylinder temperature, which should not be too high (about 100℃) to prevent PVA from adhering to the surface of the drying cylinder, or the drying cylinder should be treated with a release agent first. The PVA 17-99 particles attached to the paper fibers will completely dissolve above 70℃ and generate numerous strong adhesive points, forming a wet and strong paper product with strong bonding force.
